1. Pursuant to the |provisions of reference (a) Subject,

hereinafter referred to as Petitioner, filed enclosure (1) with
this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record
be corrected to provide reimbursement for Temporary Lodging Allowances
(TLA) .

2. The Board, consisting of Mr. zsalman, Mr. George, and Mr.
Ruskin, reviewed Petitioner's allegations of error and injustice on
25 August 2014 and, |jpursuant to its regulations, determined that
the corrective actiqn indicated below should be taken on the
available evidence #f record. Documentary material considered by
the Board consisted|of the enclosures, naval records, and
applicable statutes regulations and policies.

3. The Board, havihg reviewed all the facts of record pertaining
to Petitioner’s alljsgations of error and injustice, finds as
follows:

a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all
administrative remejies available under existing law and
regulations within |the Department of the Navy.

b. In correspondence attached as enclosure (2), the effies
having cognizance qver the subject matter addressed in Petitioner’s
application has conmented to the effect that the request has merit
and warrants favorgble action.

CONCLUSION

Upon review and colsideration of all the evidence of record, and
especially in ligh). of the contents of enclosure (2), the Board
finds the existenc!: of an injustice warranting the following
corrective action.
RECOMMENDATION :

That Petitioner’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to
show that:

a. vetitioner is reimpursea for lodging expenses ($103.00 per
night) from 25 April {013 to 7 May 2013, and taxes ($11.33 per night)
from 25 April 2013 to|7 May 2013.

bw Note: Petit/oner was authorized TLA via Naval Base Guam’s
Certificate of Non-Aviiilability #3064079184084, to stay at the
Marriott Guam Resort |: Spa Hotel from 25 April 2013 for a period of up
to fourteen days; however, Petitioner was only billed for a period of
thirteen nights.

c. A copy of this Report of Proceedings will be filed in
Petitioner’s naval rcord.

4. It is certified chat quorum was present at the Board's review
and deliberations, aid that the foregoing is a true and complete
record of the Board’; proceedings in the above entitled matter.

5. Pursuant to the delegation of authority set out in Section
6(e) of the revised /Procedures of the Board for Correction of Naval
Records (32 Code of |Federal Regulations, Section 723.6(e)) and
having assured compliance with its provisions, it is hereby
announced that the foregoing corrective action, taken under the
authority of refererjce (a), has been approved by the Board on
